Haunting inner Journey (1​/​2) - Inception through deep levels

Here is « Haunting Inner Journey », a half improvised composition (well, perhaps 75% improvised), in 2 parts, 2 movements, with real live birds and seagulls sounds:
- Part. 1: « Inception through deep levels » (about 6 minutes 39),
- Part. 2: « Subtle fighting, then emergence » (about 11 minutes 54).

This is the first movement.

The ensemble represents the melancholia we all can feel sometimes, thinking about the past with nostalgia and wondering what could be the future while we’re in the present moment, in this weird world with such positive things and good people trying to help others, the animals, the planet and trying to make all better by a wise evolution with love, tolerance and awakenings, changing states of minds, but also, at the same time, still so much horrors and things going all wrong about so numerous subjects…

Like an eternal war between the Yin and the Yang, the Good and the Evil, a scales trying, hardly, to find its equilibrium.
And I just wish this balance tips the right side and stays there…

It also represents the positive and negative tendencies we all have inside us and that we try - some people more and harder than others - to fight, to temper, in order to enhance ourselves in a better way to become wiser and awoken (which still allows a bit of fun and craziness of course ;) ).

As another symbol of duality, different kind of singing birds wanted to enter into the score, by singing nicely or not, seagulls for example, with their particular howl, like if they were mocking us all, human, losing time and mind by thinking about all that, and that’s perhaps the wisdom they want to spread: just live and enjoy the moment, all is vain. :-p
But I don’t agree with this simple hedonistic state of mind and I prefer to do good around me when I can. ;)

I hope this will resonate inside you as well as it did for me (as you can see at the end of the second part). ;)

Played and recorded on July 3rd, 2016, in Saint-Gilles-Croix-de-Vie, France, reviewed and enhanced during Summer 2017, with my 2015 Aciel Sub-Voyager 10 and also a beautiful 2016 Saraz C# Minor 8 I had the chance to have for some days back then.
It was a very first exploration playing them both ‘cause I get the Saraz the day just before, but they matched perfectly to explore the feelings I express here.
They are both magnificent sound sculptures. :)
